Our Visit With Elizabeth Uhlig
Today the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students had a visit from author, illustrator, and publisher, Elizabeth Uhlig. Ms. Uhlig shared her artwork and her books with us. She told us the stories behind her books. We learned that she, like our students, has a writer’s notebook, that she carries with her wherever she goes! Her notebook contains ideas and sketches that she later uses in her writing. I hope that everyone enjoyed this visit as much as I did! -Ms. Lane!

Coming on Friday, January 19th…
On Friday, January 19th, we will have a visit by author, illustrator, and publisher, Elizabeth Uhlig. Ms. Uhlig just released a new poetry book, Rainwalk. She has written other books, including a book describing how to write a memoir. Students from grades 3 through 5 will visit Ms. Uhlig in the Library.
