The Spelling Bee was a real nail biter this year.  There were many great contestants. In the end,  Dame, Hannah, and Nikol won for the third, fourth and fifth grades. here are some photos of the contestants:

This is an amazing story about a boy and his Grandpa.  Grandpa moves in with Pete’s family after Grandma dies.  Pete does not want to give up his room.  Read this to see how Grandpa and Pete battle it out.

This book made us think of so many things – our own families, communication, peer pressure, and talking things out instead of fighting.  You will definitely enjoy this story!
